Troubleshooting no connection if the Modem “DSL” light is OFF

If the “DSL” light on router/modem is OFF, this indicates the modem is not in sync with the exchange equipment.

1. Check the phone cable between the “DSL” socket on the router/modem and the BT Wall socket.
2. Power off the router/modem and your router/Firewall for 20 minutes, then power back on, wait 5 minutes then re-test. Ensure the power light is on. If the power light is off, then check the power supply to the modem.
3. If the above does not resolve the issue, please contact Support to run diagnostics tests on the connection, and report the results of the above tests to us.
